I wrote a post about career-related stuff and when I added these photos, I realized this post wasn’t going to be about my career as a marketing specialist. This post is about finding the right lighting.
These pictures were taken in the very last minutes before the sun set down and the darkness suffocated the pink tones in the sky.
Few days before taking these pictures we passed this beach boulevard and I immediately thought that the sunset must be amazing there.
First, we tried some backlight-situations and didn’t like them. All the shadows and contrasts were making everything too dramatic. After we switched the positions and I faced the setting sun, things started to happen.
This applies also to the real life. Don’t try to stand in front of the light, instead, face it and let it light you up.
The take away of the day: surround yourself with people who want to light you up, not with the people who create shadows around you.
